Paint the Town Red

17 August 2017

The passionate, fiery and energising shade dominated the Autumn/Winter 2017 catwalk shows, with brands such as Givenchy, Max Mara and Fendi sending models down the catwalk in head to toe shades of red.

This bold colour makes a starring role in our new ‘Paint the town red’ range, with its appearance at this years shows playing a huge role in the inspiration.

The bright colour palette is fun and fresh with the use of hot pink, on trend red, nude and burgundy against solid charcoals. Combined with the Jumble print that merges existing successful prints from cards and product to create and abstract pattern, we really cannot wait for you guys to see the new range!

After the summer’s prevalent pink, our obsession with colour continues with vibrant shades of red. Contrary to what you may have been told about ‘Clashing Colours’, the rulebook does not apply with these two! Whether its crimson and hot pink or pillar box red and blush, these eye catching hues work perfectly together.

We love colour! The huge variety displayed on the catwalks this season gave us huge inspiration for the new collection, however, we still wanted our individuality to shine through and display a distinct difference with the colours we combined.

Our bright colour palette is fun and fresh with the use of hot pink, on trend red, nude and burgundy against solid charcoals, we believe Paint the Town Red is our strongest collection to date!

The AW17 runways were awash with lips in every shade of scarlet from Prada to Preen. This show of confidence; with everything going on across the world from pay equality issues to political problems, dissatisfied women are collectively demanding more.

Even at the height of the recession, sales of lipstick thrived, proving that bright red shades make a statement and give women the confidence boost they need when times are tough. Get your own piece of the red revolution right here >
